Conference & devices

Beyond watching the stream, you can join the room's voice/video conference, share your screen, and pick your devices.

Joining the conference

When you enter, Farbstrom asks how you want to take part:

• Camera + Microphone — full conference.
• Microphone only — voice, no camera.
• Watch only — just the stream, no camera or mic.

Your choice is remembered for next time.

Controls

From the toolbar (shortcut keys in brackets — full list in Keyboard shortcuts):

• Camera (A) — turn your camera on/off.
• Microphone (S) — mute/unmute, or hold to talk when push-to-talk is on.
• Share screen — present your screen to the room.

Device settings

Open Devices to choose your camera, microphone, and speaker, and to toggle:

• Noise reduction — suppress background noise.
• Echo cancellation — stop echo and feedback.
• Push-to-talk — mic stays muted until you hold S or the mic button.

The host can preset these per room, but your own choice always wins on your device.

Participants

Click the participant count in the top bar to open the roster — everyone in the room and their role. Hosts also see who's waiting or removed.

Hosts can mute or remove anyone straight from a participant's tile or the roster.
