Stream keys
A stream key is the credential an encoder uses to push a broadcast in. The Stream keys tab is also where you get the ready-made ingest URLs to paste into your encoder.

Create a key
Click + New Key and name it after the source it'll live on (e.g. Main Suite, Laptop). One key can be used across as many rooms as you assign it to.
Copy the ingest URL
Each key card lists the full URL for every protocol, each with a copy button. Copy the one your encoder uses and paste it in — no hand-editing.
- SRT (recommended) —
srt://<host>:9999?streamid=default/live/<key> - RTMP — server
rtmp://<host>:1935/live, stream key = the key - WHIP — endpoint under
/live/*
Protocol guidance is in Encoders; OBS steps in OBS Studio.
Assign a key to a room
Pick the key in the room's settings (Rooms), or from the key picker on the room card. A room with no key assigned runs in call mode.
The card also lists which rooms currently use the key.
